Amazing Maya

This exciting topic covers a multitude of interesting facts - where and when the Maya lived, where they are now, some of their customs and beliefs, what happened to them and some of their amazing scientific and artistic creations.

This session is supported by photos and videos from my time in Mexico and explores the Mayan calendar, writing, games and food....including all things chocolate!

We do not solely look at the past... we see how some of the Mayan customs and discoveries still live on among us all today.
