This session looks at the difference between  'climate', 'weather' and 'extreme weather'. We look at what is 'normal' depending on where we are in the world.

We explore extreme weather events and where they are most likely to occur...what is the difference between a hurricane and tornado and how each are formed.

Extreme weather events are viewed through exciting video clips as well as stories of my own experience in the UK hurricane of 1987.

We also look briefly at the famous Hollywood  film to feature a tornado - The Wizard of Oz.

I have another version of this presentation geared to younger children in Years 1 and 2.
